CDD, in partnership with the North American Reggio Emilia Association (NAREA) and the Reggio Inspired Vermont Early Education Team (RIVET), is sponsoring the summer 2026 NAREA conference:

In Celebration of the Voices of Democracy: Documenting as an Act of Meaning-Making, Community-Building, and Joy

Join us in Winooski, Vermont, from June 25th to 27th for an inspiring three-day event! Complete the application below to apply for a scholarship. If selected, your registration fee will be just $100, with the Child Development Division covering the rest ($575).

Preference will be given to those working in the classroom in a direct role with children and with experience with or knowledge of Reggio Emilia.

If the $100 fee represents a financial hardship for you, please contact Jessica Burns at Jessica.Burns@vermont.gov by 3/11/2026. Don’t miss this chance to engage with innovative educational practices with educators from Reggio Emilia!

You must attend all three days of this conference to qualify for professional development hours.

Participants must apply through the CDD application to be eligible. Registrations directly through the NAREA website will be charged the full $675.00 registration fee.
